Spring at Morningstar

Number 2 Green
Number 2 Green

This green is nearly surrounded by water, and is known for its tendency to be quick.  This is Morningstar's signature hole.  While the hole is easily reached in two, a birdie is earned by an accurate shot placed below the pin.  Otherwise, a great putt is the only way to save par.

The clubhouse sits at the top of the hill which overlooks the 9th hole.  A large deck across the back of the clubhouse overlooks the first tee.

Beautiful crabapple trees yet to bloom line the right side of this par three.  Too much club will bring the out of bounds behind the green into play.

This hole always plays longer than its actual yardage due to the prevailing winds from the southwest.  Club choice is important.

Although not clearly visible in this photo, the green is protected by bunkers front, left and right.  What you can see is part of the long rolling fairway leading to the green.  A good example of what Morningstar is all about.  Getting to the green is not the difficulty here.  Choosing the correct approach to the green results in a good score.
